In a high-level ceremony attended by Dr. Mahmoud Mohy Eldin, the Egyptian Minister of Finance, China Development Bank (CDB) - the first investment bank in China - celebrated, on November 10, 2009, the opening of its first overseas representative office in Cairo. The establishment of this representative office aims at fostering greater cooperation between China and African countries in financing infrastructure and development projects throughout the African continent. Sarie-Eldin & Partners has acted and continues to act as CDB’s advisor in Egypt in relation to the latter’s representative office in Egypt.
